Visited Fat Belly with my friend and we tried the Wagyu Onglet and Mayura Wagyu Tri-Tip, both of which were juicy and rich. I felt that the fresh and juicy tomatoes went well with the rich taste of the beef!

We ordered a side of truffle fries (generous portion!) and creamed kale, which was very creamy and had some fruity notes, which was a nice touch to the meal.

We also had the chance to also try the Bordelaise, one of Fat Belly's House Made Sauces, a mixture of red wine reduction with beef gravy. This sauce was a good addition as it added more fragrance to the beef.

Ended off the meal with a Basque Burnt Cheesecake which was very soft and creamy; the edges were nicely burnt to give it a toasted fragrance.

Overall great experience! Staff was very attentive.

I can’t express how impressed I was with the Tri-Tip Wagyu beef, imported from Australia. The marbling was amazing and the outer skin was crisp and nice. Sprinkled with some sea salt and accompanied with the Bordelaise sauce (beef gravy with red wine reduction), the combination was beyond perfect.

I did not pair it with any wine, but I must imagine that it’ll be even more amazing than just the beef itself.

A definite must try. The quality of the food here will not disappoint.

Had the burpple special 7 course set meal and the wagyu steak was awesome. Marbling was great and very tender. Service provided was sufficient too considering the restaurant was busy at dinner time.

Ordered the flat iron and Mayura tri-tip plus the creamed kale and roasted spiced sweet potatoes to share with a friend. The meat was so tender and so amazing. Creamed kale was not too heavy which I liked, and the sweet potatoes was really good too with a slight curry aftertaste. Ended the night off perfectly with the burnt cheesecake. Highly recommended!

My first time at Fat Belly with a friend, and we had a really pleasant experience dining at Fat Belly, with excellent service and exquisite food. We had the flat iron and Mayura tri-tip which were melt in the mouth and we also had sides of creamed kale and roasted spiced sweet potatoes that tasted even better than they looked! I’ll definitely have the rich and creamy basque burnt cheesecake for dessert on my next visit.

The char siew was cooked medium rare.
So good I crave for fluffy Japanese rice to go with it!
