Way more authentic a mala than I expected, it was choke full of peppercorns. While the flavour was intense it was well balanced too, without the peppercorns being overbearing. Very solid mala chicken pot

Delicious! So much umami and the sauce goes perfectly on rice. Good amount of chicken and the mushrooms were cooked flawlessly. Definitely get this if you're looking for something non spicy.

Soup is refillable btw

We took the Mala Chicken Hotpot with some side dishes. The soup taste good and very flavourful. But side dishes are quite expensive. Nevertheless, worth trying! oh yes remember to order the frozen beer too, we ordered Yuzu and Lychee, so good! Yums 😍 Total $96 for 2 pax

Used Burpple Beyond, ordered small hotpot 1-for-1. House special chicken is somewhat like gong bao chicken, delicious gravy not too overpowering, perfect with steam rice. Spicy & fragrant chicken is a mild Mala version. If not big eaters, 2 small hotpots can feed 3 pax (or even 4). Perfect for our family of 2+2 children

We took the chicken pot 1:1. We added ingredient.
We choose mushroom chicken pot and a spicy chicken pot. The mushroom chicken pot, we added instant noodles and it was sooo good.
The spicy pot on the other hand was just spicy.
Do order the mushroom chicken pot and tell them to make it spicy if you love the heat like I do.

Hanging out at Bugis with the crew? This Sichuan joint's got some mean mala dishes that will satiate cravings. Get the 'Numbing and Fiery' flavoured House Special Chicken Pot ($20) to share, where tender chicken sits in a thick and fragrant spicy sauce with a generous amount of peppercorn stalks (making it extra numbing!).
