Fatboy's The Burger Bar (Dhoby Ghaut)

Ordered the Yolo $18.50 for lunch. Single patty of beef, atop a fried egg, fried onion strings, smoked Mozzarella sticks with smoked Chipotle. Burger bun could be better. Nothing special. N always long queue.

Decent mushroom swiss-style burger for the price. One of my go to places for reasonably priced restaurant burgers. Great place for a gathering too.

Not swearing, but just simply calling out one of the best burgers we have had in Singapore 🍔 Double beef patty + chewy bacon + cheddar chase +homemade BBQ sauce paired with a fried egg to magically balance out the grease. It’s super filling so think twice if you are pairing it with a rich shake. It’s carnivore’s paradise.

I’ve always wanted to give Fatboy’s The Burger Bar a try and I finally did it today! 3 of us ordered 2 burgers to share:

1. Fat Basterd ($19.80)
Double beef chuck patties, chewy bacon, cheddar cheese, a fried egg and homemade Fatboy's BBQ sauce on sesame seed bun.

2. Bikini Bottom ($16.80)
Beef patty topped with a crispy soft shell crab and smothered in creamy salted egg sauce with crisp curry leaves on a sesame seed bun.

The beef patties were plump, soft and juicy. They went very well with the bacon and cheddar cheese in Fat Basterd, while the soft shell crab added a seafoody crunch to the classic beef burger in Bikini Bottom:) Given the generous serving size, each burger can feed two person comfortably, unless you are really really hungry. Will definitely return again when I crave for good quality burgers:)! #burger

I ordered the Wimpy with no bacon. The fried egg was a little more cooked than i preferred, so no runny yolk. Patty was medium well done, which was what I liked. Quite juicy for a med well. Could do with more bbq sauce. But fries were almost room temp so I didn’t like it at all. Overall very average.

Because sometimes you just want caramelised onions and blue cheese with your chicken.
