There was a time in life when I was in Singapore that I went all the way to Toa Payoh to get halal (& cheap!) Western food. Price didn’t disappoint, but flavour wise I thought it could be slightly better. I would want to come again to try out the beef dishes though, apparently they are good.

If you don't mind travelling for food, then you might want to try this out. It is located at an industrial area at Toa Payoh.

All dishes are priced at below $10 and served at relatively large portion. With lots of varieties to choose from, you'll be spoilt for choices.

I tried the Chicken Cutlet Rice Set and the Blackpepper Chicken Chop Set. The chickens are soft and tender, and the cajun fries are well seasoned.

The waiting time during peak lunch hours are a bit long but it was worth the wait. Ambience is nice too given that it is a 'hawker centre'.

Really big serving of pasta, the fish was well marinated. Served in a hotplate charged at an affordable price!

Highly recommended to share with a buddy or two.
Deep fried individually: 2 chicken wings, fries, nuggets and generous amount of potato wedges.
Dipping sauce: cheese, tartar, black pepper sauce.
($10.90)

Only $7.20 for this awesome sizzling plate of pasta with Cajun Chicken, Mash and bun.
Taste as good as it looked.

Not a bad place overall, the sauce was rich but the chicken could have more flavour. Fries, bun, coleslaw were good though. I'd recommend coming here anyway because the ambience is very nice, spacious and dimly lit and good for conversations or just chilling out
