It's supremely eggy I don't know why, otherwise all aspects were decent. It's very heavily seasoned tho, I needed rice to go along w it

The oyster omelette from Fatty Weng is neither too greasy nor dry and the amount of oyster is extremely generous. You can choose the portion based on the price tag ($5/$6/$8/$10). For us, we usually get the $5 portion and it is already quite filling for a meal.

Noodles were nicely done, Tom yum not so spicy. Appreciate that they use herbs like lemongrass and blue ginger root to make the tomyum flavourful.

Tried their oyster omelette the first time and this time, we went for their other popular dish! The unassuming clear broth was well packed with flavour and I especially liked that extra touch of savouriness from the bits of salted vegetables and fried ikan bilis. Fish slices were fresh, chunky and tender with a good bite. Portion was great and worth the price tag. Will definitely be back!

Was craving for orh jians but my fav stalls are closed on Mondays, so we googled and came by here! Fatty Weng has 2 stalls and sells a huge variety from orh jian, roast meats to fish soup. $5 but the portion was pretty good and the fresh oysters were plump! It had a good balance of egg and starch, but I’d like it crispier and more evenly seasoned. Not the best but still a good option if you’re in the West! They also have bigger portions at $6/$8.

One of my favourite haunt when I am craving for orh luak, in the West of Singapore.
I always try to order when the long-time lady staff is manning the wok, as she does a better version - fragrant and crispy tapioca starch and eggs, that is fried to perfection!
