Honestly quite impressed by this place! The place is known for the meatballs & mushroom, and I could see why. The meatball is crunchy on the outside, well seasoned and kinda had an ikan bilis taste; the mushroom was very mushroomy and soft and slippery.

I also liked the veg as it had some crunch. Taupok and taukwa were decent, taukwa wasn’t sour and q soft but not as soft as fulin.

Arrived just before the lunch crowd hit, at about 12.15pm so come early if you don’t like queueing!

Favorite Yong Tau Foo from Lucky Plaza!
As great as ever, my favourites are the mushrooms and meatballs. This meal will always be a 10/10 for me.

Ordered 7 pieces of YTF and bee hoon ($4.80). As highlighted by other reviews, the must-order pieces are the meatball and mushroom. The chilli sauce was really good so I'd recommend ordering the dry version and spamming the chilli sauce. Cheap and delicious - one of the top 5 YTFs for sure. I'll definitely be back!

2 of my favourite items would be the meat ball and mushroom. The meat balls were deep fried till crispy while the inner is filled with minced meat and the braised korean mushrooms were soft, flavourful and soaked with juice.

This is the best kept secret of Bugis Cube. Located on the 2nd floor.
Try the korean mushroom and fried meatball! But maybe not the dry beehoon option as the beehoon gets a little overcooked..
Come after 1pm to avoid the lunch crowd :)

Office workers in Bugis looking for a new dining option will want to note this down. The second outlet of the famed Lucky Plaza Yong Tau Foo is tucked away on the second floor of Bugis Cube, and sports a shorter queue (for now). It's well known for its incredibly low prices and unique Yong Tau Foo ingredients like Korean mushrooms and fried meatballs. While many Burpplers love having their YTF dry, allow yourself some indulgence and go for the Curry Laksa. According to Burpple Tastemaker Jean Kao, it's less lemak than laksa and has a tinge of hae bi hiam flavour in it. When picking out Yong Tau Foo ($0.60 per piece, minimum eight pieces), don't miss out on the delightfully juicy Korean mushrooms. Everyone, including Tastemaker Jean, insists on having at least one of it in their meal because "they become so plump after soaking, so biting into them is a delight". Be sure to add a spoonful of their homemade belachan chilli and fried shallots for a spicy kick!
