LINO

If our Burpplers are any indication, you won't go wrong with the signature Burrata Pizza ($26) at LINO. Burppler Wuu Yyiizzhhoouu says "their tomato sauce is utterly impressive. Very fruity and bright, it's leagues above your average tomato sauce." Burppler Vanessa Kou agrees, saying "the luscious mild flavour of the burrata ball melded well with the other ingredients too". Match this up draught beer from Staropramen ($12) and Blue Moon ($13) and you've got a night to remember.

Bella Pizza

You'll be spoiled for choice at Bella Pizza, with 18 stunning pizzas to choose from. Burppler Maureen Ow enjoyed the Pizza Ortolana, which is a red pizza topped with tomato, mozzarella and mixed vegetables. Or go for the signature Pizza Bella Pizza ($24), with mozzarella, ricotta, salami and sautéed spinach, as recommended by Burppler Cuifen Chen. Make it a perfect night by grabbing a bottle of Manabrea ($12) or Hoegaarden ($12), then lie back as you enjoy the breeze along Robertson Quay!

Zazz Pizza

Zazz Pizza is the culmination of over 25 years of experience in Italian cuisine for Chef Fernando, who dishes up tasty wood-fired pizzas with amazing value. For the true taste of Zazz, Burppler Vanessa Kou recommends the Zazz Pizza ($24). "The earthy notes from the mushrooms and truffle cream also worked harmoniously with the savouriness of the cheeses as well as the burst of sweetness from the tomatoes". Pair your pizzas with a very wallet-friendly Peroni ($6) or Heineken ($6).

AMANO

AMANO completes its pizzas with premium meats and seafood from around the world. Burppler Nicole L really enjoyed the Prosciutto De Parma ($27), and "the arugula leaves really helped cut through the oiliness of the dish." As for Ally F, she thought the Truffle Infused Mushroom Pizza was "so good", especially with its chewy and perfectly thin crusts. For beers, you won't go wrong with the Coq & Balls Lychee Pale Lager ($10.50) or Menabrea Lager ($11).

Pizza Fabbrica

Pizza Fabbrica is a great bet for real wood-fired pizzas in Bugis. Burppler Tamara C ordered the classic Margherita di Bufala ($20), and liked the "nice and tasty dough, and the tomato sauce was tart and fresh!" Don't like tomato? Try the Funghi Scarmoza ($32), which Burppler Veronica Phua says "without the usual tomato sauce base, the flavours of the sliced porcini mushroom, Fior de Latte mozzarella and Scarmoza cheese managed to shine". On the beer front, how does a bottle of Menabrea ($10), from Piedmont in Italy, or Corona ($10) sound?

Più 39 Italian Pizza Bar

This Lorong Mambong joint is one of several Italian joints on the famed Holland Village stretch, but this one stands out for their pizzas. Try their Diavola ($19), which Burppler Amanda Liu says combines just tomato, mozzarella and salami "to create a savoury bomb of a pizza". Burppler A. Ling likes the Cipolla & Pancetta Pizza as it "was simple yet hearty, crust was thin but filled with ingredients. Onions in the pizza really brought out the flavour of the mozzarella and bacon." Throw on some Tabasco for the perfect slice, and don't forget their German brews like Paulaner Munch Hell ($9) and Alpirsbacher Klosterbrau ($8).
