Da Paolo

For A Gula Melaka Coconut Pandan Bun
Celebrate with Da Paolo's well-loved Gula Melaka Coconut Pandan Bun ($5.50 each)! Back by popular demand and now available in individual portions, the buns are inspired by the iconic flavours of one of Singapore's most popular desserts. Made with a sweet pandan-infused sourdough, the buns are filled with desiccated coconut and drizzled over with a gula melaka and pandan leaf reduction before being topped with shredded coconut and dusted with icing sugar. Do note that these are subject to availability from Fridays to Sundays and on 9th August itself.

For a day or night of merrymaking, head down to Da Paolo Dempsey Restaurant & Bar and imbibe the local-themed concoctions such as the Slushy Sling ($24++) which is their take on the Singapore Sling and the 57th Pandan Street ($18++), a velvety and zesty mocktail teeming with the familiar flavours of local ingredients.

If food is what you're after, head over to Da Paolo Pizza Bar for their Chicken, Pesto & Sundried Tomatoes Pizza ($33++). The toothsome, red and white pizza is topped with a house-made pesto, mozzarella cheese, tender steam-baked mixed herbs chicken breast, sweet cherry tomatoes, and Italian sun-dried tomatoes.

For Laksa In A Burger
Calling all Laksa lovers! McDonald's has just launched the all-new Laksa Delight Prawn Burger and the Laksa Delight Chicken Burger ($7.40 a la carte and $9.10 for an Extra Value Meal). The former features a crispy prawn patty topped with creamy Laksa sauce, a round egg, and fresh purple cabbage slaw, all packed between two lightly-toasted butter buns for the perfect finish. The latter takes a 'chicky' spin on the local favourite with a juicy chicken patty served instead of the prawn.

Pair these burgers with their new Teh C Frappé ($4.50 for Small, $5 for Medium), a rather refreshing take on a classic drink as it's topped with chocolate powder and whipped cream. And, don't forget the Pulut Hitam Pie ($1.70), a crispy pastry filled with purple sticky rice coconut cream filling. Pro tip: dunk this in their vanilla soft serve to elevate this delicious treat even further!
