$6 per pot. Rice is cooked from scratched in the claypot with generous amounts of chicken thigh meat and lap cheong / Chinese sausages.
15 mins waiting time on a non busy afternoon.
Worth a visit.

Tasty and joyful looking claypots of savoury chicken rice.
Four of us, therefore four claypots, only one was without salted fish.
Tender chicken meat, fluffy rice, sliced chinese sausages, cabbage and drizzled with dried shrimp.
Definitely satisfying!

From a distance, the aroma of sizzling rice with dark sauce fill your senses and before you know it, the rice is quickly mixed up with the meat and sauce. Delicious and comforting, the second bite continues after the first. Thigh meat and every bite is juicy. Taste buds are quickly awakened by the next mouthful of rice with that little joyful bit of saltiness that comes possibly from the little dried prawns. Third time eating this in 3 weeks and definitely more in the upcoming weeks! Only $5 for individual portion with huge portions of thigh meat and lap cheong.

😍 the rare time I'm around the area when this is actually opened. Each pot cooked to order with tender chicken thigh chunks, crispy shrimps, Chinese sausage and boiled vegetables. A steal at $5

The claypot rice here is more of a ‘wetter’ style as compared to my favourite one from Golden Mile Hawker Centre (Yew Chuan), but it is delicious too! The chicken is tender, lup cheong portion is generous & the rice was getting slightly burnt around the edges of the pot which gave the dish a great smokey flavour.

Pleasantly surprised to find that this was as good as I remembered, and I last had it a good 5 years or more back! Claypot rice that's freshly cooked on order, so be prepared to wait 15 mins at least. Major love for the tender chicken thigh pieces, delectable Chinese sausage, garnished with boiled cabbage & fried shrimp (instead of salted fish) for that added crunch & unami.
