Newly opened just about 2️⃣ months ago, @feima.stone.hotpot is an authentic Taiwan Stone Hotpot Restaurant located within Lavender district. Using traditional techniques of stir-frying ingredients with sesame oil before pouring in their chicken🐓 soup broth made with zero MSG, you can expect a comforting😌 dining experience without any disappointment😄👍.

The journey to Taiwan begins as you enter👣 through their interesting vending machine doors and be greeted👋 by the interior design of the restaurant - walls covered with life size wallpapers of popular Taiwan attractions.

The unique thing about this place is that the soup will be boiled based on the ingredients you choose. So no MSG, I would think it’s healthier (?) than most hotpots! Also, you can go up to the fridge and select and take the dish yourself! Most of the drinks as well!

The server will also cook some of the base ingredients in the hotpot for you before proceeding to add the soup! I loveee the soup, it doesn’t take very heavy as most hotpot places, but it has a v subtle and refreshing taste to it!

Other than that, pretty much v average. It’s around 25 to 30 bucks per pax, so it’s not cheap!

Interesting hotpot concept! They stir fry the meat (choice of chicken, pork belly, beef) with vegetables and some sauces firsy in the stone pot first then add a mild broth. It is the other ingredients you put in along the meal that help strengthen the broth’s flavour. You can choose the ingredients yourselves and every plate colour has a different price. Not bad, but price is not cheap as it ended up costing $30+ per person to be full. And we chose ‘fish cake with mochi’ but it turned out to be fish cake with potatoes and cheese. Misleading 😂
