got their ebi capellini pasta, duck confit and pulpo when I was there✨ I been to their previous outlet and I prefer their food standard and quality now way better for the as usual higher price👩🏻‍🍳
The duck confit don’t look like much but it’s my favorite 💯 their use of crispy Quinoa as a base is yums! With that potato dauphinoise 🥔 money worth👍 it’s available on delivery!🤩

One of the better french toasts that leaves you satisfied. Great for a filling breakfast if you're craving for something sweet. Liked that the sauce was milk instead of maple syrup, since the toast was already sweet enough on its own. The rhubarb was a nice decoration but didn't go well with the dish for me.

Although this is listed as a side dish, this was surprisingly filling and it is best shared by at least two people. This is your usual mac and cheese, with a generous serving of mentaiko paste and tobiko on it! Note that the dish also contains prawns, and hence may not be very suitable for those who do not like seafood. Pretty great dish for $16++.

Cafe was full when we went at 8.30 am on a public holiday and we had to wait for 45 minutes for a table for two :( so do be prepared to queue!!

The taste is surprisingly good. Do order it with the vanilla ice cream. Great dessert to end off.

Mentaiko mac & cheese + sriracha chicken eggs ben + lychee rose iced tea was delicious. Went on a Sunday at 1pm and the queue was about 30min-1h, so be prepared to wait if you're going on the weekend. On the bright side, you can go get a coffee at Stamping Ground while you wait!

Five Oars showcases exposed brick walls, warm lights and open spaces with no shortage of planters around at their East Coast location. Besides stellar coffee, Five Oars also has brunch plates that will put you in the perfect weekend mood! Their Mentaiko Mac & Cheese ($16) is a crowd favourite; a cheesy, umami bomb with bits of crab and prawn throughout. Another plate not to miss is their Crab Scramble ($23), housemade sourdough with a blanket of creamy scrambled eggs, topped with sweet crab meat, feta, ebiko and a kick of spice from the togarashi on top.
