If you're looking for cheap and good food in Jewel Airport then you should consider going to Five Spice! Although it's food court food but the atmosphere is quite different haha it's kinda like a upgraded food court. However do expect to large crowd (since it's more affordable as compared to restaurants). We ordered the KL Chilli Ban Mee and although the portion is pretty small it's still quite yummy. However would expect it to be more flavourful 😅 not the best ban mee/chilli ban mee I had but still acceptable hahaha. Not something that can SPICE up my life but ok at least can fill my tummy when I need to!

Michelin food at Jewel’s upscale food court, only at a slightly higher price point? I was definitely drawn. Try the silky smooth soft tofu cubes in the shallow bowl of mala oil and a healthy portion of minced meat was nice to pair with the plain noodles that were better than your average ubiquitous la mian.
What I really enjoyed was the supporting bowl of clear soup from a Japanese stock that I couldn’t get enough of; I don’t think you’d ever get better quality side bowl soups at food courts.

The Mee sua was soft and very easy to eat. Broth was delightful. But didn’t see any peanuts this time. The seaweed soup was really good. Well seasoned. The other dish in the set was enoki mushrooms.

This was more interesting than just plain Fishball Noodles cos there were fish cakes and fish dumplings as well. I added extra 2 fishballs for $1.30. Loved the chili sauce and pork lard in this.

Liked this so much from their value meal last time. This was the full sized version. So utterly satisfying. Could smell the nose biting Sichuan spices mixed with the peanut sauce but couldn’t really taste them, which was good for me. Lots of other items on their menu but I cannot see how not to order this each and every time. So good.

Thot this was a fail safe BCM but the smell of the pork was overpowering. Not that there was anything spoiled in the bowl but the porky smell was so strong. For die hard pork fans.
