Love the ramen soup!
I also like the Chicken Nanban but I think they put too much mayo on it
Flaming don is my go to Japanese dining place because it is so worthwhile! They have this lunch/dinner/student promo with free drinks and miso soup I think. They also serve a pretty good variety of noodles and rice bowls for you to choose from. π
Student set lunch menu came with drink and a side (~$10), value for money! Nice combination of cheese and sliced beef.

Chicken Curry Don: $10.90
Nema Tama Buta Don: $12.90
The rice had a nice bouncy texture and they gave a generous amount of meat and sauce. The japanese curry was flavourful and the vegetables were stewed to a nice texture. The other dish tasted like an average chicken don. The chicken in both were however a little overcooked with a slight chewy texture.
Ordering is done at a self-serve kiosk though there is staff on hand to provide assistance. Drinks are free-flow and there is a small corner offering extra condiments and miso soup. Would recommend the garlic miso sauce to add extra umami flavour!
Overall: 7.5/10 π
Both roast beef donburi $15.90+ and chicken combo donburi ($14.90+ if I remember correctly) had a nice smoky aroma. Texture wise, unfortunately, the beef was too chewy and the eggs were too raw. Self service miso soup and drink $2.99+ were refillable.
