Why settle for ham when you can have tender, lip-smacking pulled pork on your Eggs Ben? Perfectly poached eggs, checked. Tasty, piquant hollandaise, checked. Fluffy brioche toast to mop up that delicious mess, checked. There's nothing cheeky about it, and every bit delicious!
Boy, am I glad we went ahead with ordering this despite the initial apprehension. We'd requested to have it warmed up for fear that it'd suffer the same fate as lesser versions out there - dry and not very palatable. Thankfully, this was the complete antithesis of all those. Studded with spiced apple chunks and glazed with toffee, this delightful treat was moist, comforting, and gone in no time.
This is genmaicha latte, a matcha latte infused with roasted brown rice. No doubt, this is going to taste differently from matcha lattes as there's a strong roasted aroma and flavour in it. Sometimes it's good to try something different 》$6.50
This portion to cajun fries is worth it's price. Quite a big portion of thick cut fries with sprinkles of paprika powder 》$7
Braised Pork Cheek, Grated Parmesan, Basil 》$14
After seeing quite a number of reviews for their pork cheek, we decided to get a portion of pork cheek rigatoni to share. I fell in love with the taste of their pork cheek but we sort of agree that this has a similar taste to the canned braised/stewed pork from the supermarket. The only sad thing is that the pasta was a little undercooked.
Brioche, Caramelised Banana, Bacon with Maple Syrup 》$14
Thick and fluffy brioche soaked in egg mixture then pan fried to golden brown. It has a crispy crust on the outside and pillow soft on the inside. I loved the caramelised bacon and bananas. My hearty weekend sweet and savory brunch 💞
YOU GUYS NEED TO TRY THIS FISH & CHIPS. They did magic to the batter and it turned out to be *inserts an appropriate vocabulary here* lol lol. 😂 I'm not sure what is an accurate word to describe it but it very much reminds me of eating goreng pisang but with fish inside. SO UNIQUE AND SO NICE. 😍
Sorry for doubting you, Google maps. 😁
The food made up for it though. Perfect if you are very hungry - there's probably half a bag of flour , 5 🍳 and an entire 🐟 on that plate.
Thanks for the treat @kkellylim! 💋 2 more weeks. 💪🏻 #flockcafe #burpple #sgcafe #cafehoppingsg #sgfoodporn
The waffles were good; away from being crispy, somewhat dense enough and not too fluffy! I'm not a fan of bacons so I have no comments about it but the scrambled eggs were so good and they were so generous with it!! I'm definitely coming back!!
Just as Cephas recommended, the pulled pork is really sublime. Of all egg benedict's I have had, I would rank CMCR's and Flock Cafe's meat selection for their benedict's to be of the best quality. To add on, the flakiness of the pulled pork really helped to soak up the golden ooze of the egg yolk which gave the pork a creamy texture to the already intense flavours. The brioche toast was crispy and slightly sweet, pairing with the pulled pork nicely, and effectively soaks up the runny goodness from the exploding poached egg. Overall a very well done and enjoyable dish with a portion that leans towards the small side.

A breakfast set that explores both sweet and savoury options, but don't really go well together. Waffles were crispy, bacon was crispy, scrambled eggs was also nice and bouncy. Individual items tasted great but there was no blend. Average at best. Waffles were pretty filling.

$14 doesn't justify the portion of it and the dish is on the saltier side. I wouldn't say it's not nice but probably wouldn't try it again.
My 2nd visit to Flock and the food is still as good :) Tried the banana french toast with bacon and it did not disappoint. The french toast drizzled with generous amount of maple syrup had lotsa eggs, the way I like it; bacon was crispy and the banana was nicely caramelised. One should eat all 3 components at once to enjoy the sweet, salty and crunchy at one go. Only gripe was that more bananas would be better and at $14, it is a tad pricey. Nonetheless, overall it was a satisfying brunch.
Their scrambled eggs and croissant was really good. I was feeling a bit under the weather that day but I really enjoy this hearty meal. Coffee was also pretty decent. What I enjoyed the most at flock wasn't really the food or coffee, but the attentive service from the staff there. That itself made my left flock feeling very satisfied and happy :)
Fresh juicy watermelon and pineapples topped with Greek yoghurt accompanied with homemade ice lemon tea. Great for light lunch.
There's nothing more classic for brunch than Eggs Benedict. Perfecting this dish is all about timing, the folks did a very good job and substituted smoked salmon with pulled pork for a cheeky twist.
This has beaten Homemade Nonya Fish Patty Sandwich as my favorite sandwich/ burger here. This place is really a great hangout in the west.
Brioche, caramelised banana, bacon with maple syrup. I'm a sweet tooth so an additional bowl of maple syrup to dunk the toast in would be good!
What better way to start the day with a good breakfast from Flock Cafe?
Love their signature mouthwatering "Cheeky Eggs" with two perfectly poached eggs and braised pull pork cheeks on a buttery fluffy brioche, topped with hollandaise sauce. The pulled pork cheeks was so flavorful and tender with that oozing egg yolks, and it goes so well with the creamy sourness of the hollandaise sauce which made the whole dish so memorable!
