THE BEST avo toast ever?? 👍🏼 The sourdough toast was spread with mashed avocado then topped with a few leaves of baby spinach and rocket, sliced half avocado, generous slices of thickkk smoked salmon and a perfectly poached egg! Finally, the pine nuts and pomegranate added a sweet crunch. There were so many layers and textures in this dish that I got to play around with various combinations and never got sick of it! Bonus point is that the dish is really clean and healthy too.

Note that you can’t use entertainer 1F1 on the superfood specials menu. But really, at SGD8, this is already much cheaper and much nicer than many other cafes that we have.

YUM. This dish features JUICY mushrooms, meatballs, and crispy thinly-sliced bread on the side, all lying on top of a bed of smooth hummus.

Basically, a very delicious sushi burger! Fresh salmon sashimi slices, crab sticks, avocado, edamame and soft boiled eggs jammed between rice “buns”.

Missing JB a lot so shall throw a throwback post, Hope this place is still open even after covid! Not sure why but every time we are there, it’s either closed or too crowded. We can easily see why though! The place is absolutely enchanting and doesn’t make you feel like you’re in JB at all. The food is pretty damn good too. Highly recommend the Japanese Seafood Brunch which features salmon sashimi, crabmeat sticks, grilled sushi rice, edamame, roasted seaweed, salmon roe and a soft boiled egg. Very wholesome and filling; it lasted us the whole day!

Got the same item as last time because they give so much variety in one plate! Fried okra, grilled broccoli and zucchini, edamame, chickpeas & beans, feta, cranberries & pomegranate, pesto hummus and toast; close to bursting by the time I finished it.

Back at Flowers in the Window because (1) it’s not too crowded (we came at 10 plus) and (2) the food is great and so are the prices. Their brunch items are pretty healthy and comes in really big portions so we were really stuffed. Order to share if you can!
