FOC Sentosa is inspired by Barcelona’s world-famous beach culture: it transforms from a relaxing morning hangout to an idyllic Mediterranean lunch spot and, come night time, a vibrant gastronomic getaway. Located at the east end of tranquil Palawan Beach, the airy beach front space is resplendent with bright interiors and panoramic views of the lagoon from the second-storey private events space, which can be reserved and transformed to accommodate intimate beach weddings, private parties or corporate events. Seamlessly transitioning between indoor and outdoor spaces, the restaurant and bar features different seating configurations to cater to various experiences—from beach sun beds and a spacious pool deck to a breezy alfresco terrace and an indoor bar and restaurant to escape the heat. Accessibly situated next to Tanjong Beach Walk’s taxi stand, the two-winged structure was conceived to blend into Sentosa’s verdant foliage. Designed by lauded Barcelona-based design firm, Lagranja, FOC Sentosa integrates the outdoors and indoors with its use of airy floor-to-ceiling windows and light structure. The vibrant colour palette, which uses liberal doses bright turquoise, oranges and yellows, mimics the restaurant’s natural environment of sea, sun, sand and tropical trees. A truly Mediterranean feel.

Perfect by the beach

A bit of the pricier side but I really enjoyed this fresh octopus leg that was well grilled. The chimichurri sauce added a slight spice to it, though nothing overpowering, but it complemented the freshness and fishiness of the octopus with its very refreshing, herbaceous flavour.

Grilled Spanish iberico pork paprika sausages. Decently executed with a nice char from the grill. But I thought it was just decent and not really worth the price - other than the fact that you’re at Sentosa.

A fairly typical cheese platter. I could only wish for more cheese to make it more worth it.

Perhaps it wasn’t a great idea to order this to eat outdoors - dining here was quite difficult. As we picked the outdoor seats, there were MANY MANY MANY flies so we spent most of our time trying to swat the flies away from our food. I would recommend for you to have your meal inside the restaurant - only sit outside if you’re just drinking.

We visited on the eve of CNY and it was packed. You have to make bookings prior and some tables here have minimum spending. You also have to book your timeslot if you want to use the pool here.

Average plate of calamari. I expected a larger quantity because of the price we were paying but at least it tasted fine.

Not really what we expected when we ordered nuggets, but it was a pleasant surprise. These nuggets were slightly crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside. The meat in the nugget was mixed in with many spices, and I felt like I was eating a bergedil of some sort. The home-made peanut ketchup sauce was not too bad as well. Pricey but quite delicious.
