Fong has one of the widest range of selection I have ever seen, not only of the ingredients but also the staples. Besides my favourite - Chee Cheong Fun, they even have Mee Tai Mak, Mee Sua and Spaghetti on top of your usual kway teow, mee, bee hoon, mee kia and Mee Pok.

The soup is clear and tastes great from the ikan bilis and yellow soya beans used to build the soup base.

Lunch time there will always be a queue but it moves along pretty quick. I queued for 15 mins to get to the front to select and waited another 10 mins to get my food.

Definitely my new go to place for Yong Tai Fu.

Pro-tip: The uncle clearing the tables can help you chope a table with your tissue/ID badges/umbrellas. Place your orders and go back to your choped table.

Opt for their Chee Cheong Fun, get their
handmade meatball, get their crispy beancurd skin & spam all their condiments (crushed peanuts, sesame, spring onions, fried shallots, soy beans)

Of course, you have to get their sweet sauce and chilli too!

Only my second time ordering rice. Kangkong, napa cabbage, tau kwa with fish paste, meatball, fishcake, hash brown, shiitake mushroom with fish paste, wanton. Quite satisfying but rice with ytf really a bit off.

A popular lunch spot that draws long queues for their wide variety of YTF. Other than laksa gravy and tom yum soup, they even offer spaghetti sauce(SGD1.20) which is tomato-based and pretty old-school.

Expect to spend a bit more than usual but overall, I think it’s worth a try if you’re in the area. Their fried stuff, especially their handmade meatball is a must order!

I'm back for that mysterious circular cake. The popular meatball was also a champ today, so juicy. The problem with Maggi mee however is it's one block and one block is so meagre.

Once among my favourite lunch spots, WFH meant I haven't been back since early last year. I picked my usual favourites, such as the meatball, hash brown, brinjal with fish paste, shiitake mushroom with fish paste, and napa cabbage. But they have a new item that should be a hit - the circular and flat piece in the middle that tasted like a mix of yam and mushroom. I was a bit greedy with condiments hahaha.
