We went to Fong Sheng Hao with moderated expectations after reading other burpplers’ reviews. Ordered the pork, egg, cheese toast set with their signature milk tea ($9.60) and the Taiwan special pork patty set with a local kopi ($7.30). The toasts while tasty, were not that special. Drinks were average too. Our verdict: it’s pricey for the quality and quantity you get. There are other comparable options for kopi and snacks at more competitive prices.

Taiwan's cafe which is famours for its charcoal grilled breakfast toast opened 1st outlet in Singapore! The best idea to avoid to queue is to have "breakfast" at 3pm. Not a big fan for pork so I came to the choice of floss. It's an amazing creation to mix savoury floss with sweet condensed milk, which gives me the balance on the palate and surprising fulfillment in my mind! They sell the toast itself as well (only the top slice) at the price of 3.9sgd per pack. U can also give it a try while queueing. Will come back for more!

Tried the signature Taiwan Special Pork Patty Sandwich. We got the hot local tea so our set cost less than what it would be if you order the Taiwanese tea which is only available cold.
The pork patty which is supposedly made fresh in-house, tastes like a cross between a Taiwanese sausage and luncheon meat - a little sweet, a little springy. It is stacked with a soft egg omelette, cheese between toasted slices of white bread. Not cheap for what it is but quite tasty.

Ok - as a Taiwanese id say food is not bad but not as good as 東方美 (the breakfast shop ya can see anywhere in Taiwan)

Yet it does get my nostalgia fixed though. I find the price a little bit too pricy for a sandwich and drink combo. But I have to say their milk tea is pretty good. Would I recommend? 🤔

Yes after all it worths a try!

With the milk tea, it came up to about $9.60. Overpriced if you ask me. And although tasty, I don't really see what's so special about this. The milk tea was also quite light on taste and underwhelming.

Fong Sheng Hou is well known for their sandwich at Taiwan Shillin Market and now had arrived in Singapore Payar Lebar Quarter

I try the TW special pork patty set with milk tea which cost ($9.60)which is on the high side for a sandwich and a milk tea, anyway I would say the charcoal grill bread have a right thickness, crispy and soft, for the ingredients the patty is kinda thin for the price but would like to say the star would be the egg which soft, moist and fluffy.lastly the milk tea is very smooth to drink.

For the service is amazing because even in their busy period the person that is at the collection counter when and extra mile and check on my number to make sure i get my food because she saw me waiting for sometime.
