Salted egg toman fish:
This went quite wrong. The salted egg flavour wasn't strong enough i felt, so the salted egg coating was on the faint and sweet side. We sent the dish back to the kitchen coz a bug came crawling out of the garnish. Whwn returned to us, the fish slices had two different shades of yellow, making it apparent that they refried the fish slices in the returned dish. The salted egg flavours were still rather muted tbh. This wasn't crispy at all for fried fish, coming from a zichar kinda restaurant.
The wok hei flavour is strong with a generous portion of beef slices and we get to choose from the wet or dry version too.
This dish was average not that much meat but loved the service here.
The staff were really dedicated and efficient as well.
Here in this cosy family like restaurant we like this fatty char siew and thus missed vegetable dishes.
This char siew is one of the best fatty char siew in Singapore. It's around $15. The sambal vegetables consist of different types of vegetables.
It also has KL Hokkien mee. Overall we rate this 8/10. Good for family dining if you can stand the oily dishes.
Real good. No words needed
