From the dim sum stall. The popiah was very mushy, with considerable mushroom. I've reviewed the carrot cake previously. It's the Cantonese type - mushy, sausage, hae bee.

My second carrot cake in a day - one Western, one Eastern. More specifically, Cantonese, given it contains ingredients like sausage.

From the dim sum stall. I bought this with little expectations. Most curry baked goods are lame. But it's surprisingly good! Compact with an addictive sweet crust.

Ordered the ‘porridge’ where it’s rice that is covered with soup. Fish was sweet and fresh, while soup was tasty. Even though I’m personally not a fan of bittergourd, this added a healthy and nice touch to the dish.

I have always liked the dimsum from Fortunate Restaurant (especially their char siew baos)! 💕 Sad to say, these bite-sized Custard Egg TARTS ($1.10 each) were quite a disappointment. 😥
The crust is pretty well done 💯 - buttery & crunchy despite being left out for a while. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 However, the egg custard leaned towards the sweet side & did not encompass enough of that eggy aroma. 😅
Overall a decent eat but sorry, my @taicheongsg still triumphs! ❤

Havnt eaten 板面 in a long while and this bowl of Handmade Noodles aka Ban Mian ($5.30) just got me wondering why it took me so long to savour it again! 😍😍😍
I especially liked that the noodles were springy with a firm bite without feeling too starchy or heavy! 😋😋😋 With simple ingredients such as chunks of minced meat, some chewy shimeiji mushrooms (hidden below the noodles), fresh greens & an (unfortunately overcooked) egg, this made quite a satisfying meal! 👍🏻
The highlight for me has got to be the topping of crispy ikan bilis & aromatic fried shallots which instantly elevated the flavours of the soup by a few notches! 💕
For foodcourt standard, I guess this makes the cut. ✔
