one set contains of: fish + tomyam soup + vege + 2 plates of rice for $29.9. fish was fresh, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. tomyam soup and vege were really good.

Phad Thai, Mango Sticky Rice and Tom Yum Goong, all dishes of a particular culture that is known far and wide across our tiny little interconnected planet. Thai food has always been a part of my life in more ways than one, be it having my motherโ€™s rendition of Thai Basil Pork for a weekend dinner, or simply taking out from a little Thai place from the food court just a stoneโ€™s throw away. That little Thai place is Hansa Thai. Boasting a menu with traditional Thai dishes such as their Green Curry Soup ($6) and Phad Thai ($6) amongst other sharing plates, this place has never disappointed in the many years Iโ€™ve frequented it when it comes to cheap and delicious Thai food. One dish that Iโ€™ve come to have over dozens, if not hundreds of times is their Tom Yum Seafood Fried Rice ($5). Most Thai places fail to achieve a refined balance in their attempts to combine the exoticism of Thai flavours with the familiarity of simple dishes like fried rice, but Hansa Thai proves otherwise. Served with sizeable morsels of seafood such as cuttlefish, prawns and crab sticks, every spoonful of their Tom Yum Seafood Fried Rice is sweet, sour, spicy and of course, delicious.

I love the omelette here. I had it with prawns. This is one of the omelettes that Iโ€™ve had thatโ€™s closer to the ones in Thailand, fluffy enough but youโ€™re probably consuming 4/5 eggs so watch the cholesterol levels. The other dishes were so-so. Tom Yam Soup was a bit too sour, the honey chicken had too much skin, kang kong was nice but tasted a little too sweet!

I would love love love to return for the omelette though. Paid around 30 bucks for the 4 dishes, rice and 2 thai ice tea.

No location tag for Hansa Thai but this omelette is really yum. I think I made my point ๐Ÿ˜†

All these for just $26! The green curry and tom yum soup packed heat, so would be good to order either or. The lemon chicken is definitely something to shout about though. Sauce was zesty and one thing unique about the sauce is the inclusion of salted egg in it. Didn't know lemon and salted egg can be combined like that; expect an explosion of flavours in your mouth! Average per person at $9.30 only! #burpplecheapngood
