You don’t need to pay much for good food in Singapore. Case in point, Foong Kee’s wanton mee and Char siew rice.

Added roasted pork to my rice. Sinful max, but the right type of 🐷 sin. Muahaha.

Also added a bowl of wanton soup for $3 and it was filled with wanton. No joke. Totally worth it.

This place always packed with people craving for their roasted meat during lunch time.

Char Siew is ❤! Have been wanting to try this and when I finally did, the char siew was roasted to a nice char. Coupled with the noodles and wantons, it was a satisfying meal. 🍲

I like the roast duck the most, as it's really delicious and tender. Both the Char Siew and Roasted Pork have the perfect meat to fat ratio.

Now I can fully understand why there's always long queue here.

Very satisfying meal of roast pork, char siew and wantons. Remember to ask for the chilli 🌶 (it ELEVATES the meat)

Try not to go on weekdays peak hour. There are too many working adults heading there for their lunch break.

Stalwart Foong Kee never disappoints. With the perfect ratio of crackling to melt-in-your-mouth fat and tender meat, you’ll want to slowly savour each and every piece of precious roast pork. The supporting cast are no slouches either – I enjoyed the springy egg noodles with a dollop of potent belacan chilli and four plump wantons languishing in a flavourful clear broth.
