Pricy for eggs Benedict. Ok taste wise, no hollandaise taste. Saving factor was the roasted potato wedges.

Fried chicken on waffles with a local twist - this was really yummy and a brilliant idea. I never thought I’d have my shrimp paste fried chicken drizzled with sambal maple syrup atop waffles. The sambal taste in the maple syrup wasn’t very strong, or at least I couldn’t taste very much of it. But it was a tasty combination nevertheless.

Worth a try - especially if you like har cheong gai.

I’m very much not a tau sar pau person at all so I really can’t compare much 🤭 @__zhihui.lim brought me to try this famed one from Forty Hands and it was fluffy soft with a smooth red bean paste filling that’s distinctly less sweet - which we like. Definitely more pricey though!

Scrambled eggs were slight creamy but firm, tasted quite like usual scrambled eggs honestly - I couldn’t really taste the onion and chilli at all. Was delicious with the dill feta though. The sourdough bread was okay.

It’s an okay dish if you like scrambled eggs, as the serving of scrambled eggs was quite big. I just wouldn’t expect too much of the onion and chilli because I couldn’t taste it this time round. I wouldn’t order this dish again because I like trying new dishes, but I think it’s an okay one to get for a standard brunch dish.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and managed to get seats for two.

Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, as I tend towards western meals and bread is a morning staple most of the time. I know I know, some people feel (and I, too) that ordering egg benedict feels like throwing money away because we’re literally paying around $20 for eggs, bread and a few slices of bacon. However i loveee cafe atmosphere and having big breakfasts with friends during weekends can feel like such a treat!! The cafe was packed; the meal was well done with runny eggs and everything blended together so flavourfully. Love it!!!

Best part about the dish was the eggs and bun. Portion is alright for 1 pax. We had high expectation of the roasted potatoes, where we had the choice to opt for spicy version but was not impressed. The flavour was interesting but potatoes kinda felt abit bland. Meat could be better if more juicy.
