This taro waffles left a deep impression indeed, not just because it’s a different waffle creation from the usual ones, but it’s taste is special too.

With taro infused in the batter, these purple waffles had a slight yammy rooty aroma to it, although the taste was minimal. Sadly, the waffle was served cold. The thick taro sauce and chewy taro balls were lightly fragrant. A scoop of ice cream of your choice comes along on the side. We chose the salted caramel, which gave a good balance to the dessert as a whole with its strong saltiness that matched the lighter flavored taro.

Thanks to #burpplebeyond, I get to enjoy business lunch at really good value at Froth. The chili crab pasta was really good, loved the attractive flavors. They even have 2 halves of a mantou for you to enjoy with the sauce. Spacious and comfortable place, great for business discussions.

The tenderness and juiciness of the pan-seared sea bass was skillfully locked in. Drizzled on the edamame sauce to give it an even more fluid vibe. Love the presentation with the bold stroke of squid ink across the plate. Interesting tomato paella laid on the base with a coconut peanut sauce and acar (pickled cucumber) which brings it all together with a really Asian touch.
