Earl grey burnt cheesecake: interesting taste, texture good
Choc Millie crepe: normal normal

Crust is the thin type, ingredients and flavours are good.

Hidden little cafe in AMK which serves mains, desserts and drinks. Pancakes are a bit thin but they go well with salted butter and maple syrup. Ordered a flat white for the set and the coffee is decent for the price. Staff are friendly and nice. Do note that the cafe has limited seats so it may not be suitable to host large groups.

bought their tiramisu ($4.80) & earl grey basque burnt cheesecake ($6) to try. after discount was $6 nett. the tiramisu was pretty good imo but it was a little lacking in the sponge part & alcohol so it felt a little too innocent. the cheesecake was rather disappointing - the tea flavour was so mild, it was barely there & the cake was like any other regular cheesecake (not flowy/oozy like one would expect a basque burnt to be). the top of the cheesecake was also kinda hard because it was too chilled i guess? but basically it felt like an overnight cake. the slice was also quite small in comparison to starbucks/coffee bean that sell their cakes at the same rate - but with burpple beyond, i don't really have any complaints about the price. would i come back again? probably not intentionally, but if i were to pass by & i was craving some dessert, i wouldn't mind getting the tiramisu again.

Salmon n mushroom pasta: great, the salmon wasn't dry at all; fish n chip: opt out for fries, they gave 2 portion of salad instead:) ; butter plain waffles w maple syrup: love that the waffle is not too thick or hard as well

If you're staying in Ang Mo Kio, pop by this cafe for a to-go breakfast to perk up your mornings! Pick up their Mille Crepe Cakes ($7.90) and pastried, paired with a Caffe Latte ($3.60) or tuck in to their all-day breakfast menu on a leisurely weekend morning. Bring a friend and use your 1-for-1 Main Dish deal for The Basics ($8) - think fluffy scrambled eggs and brioche served with potato wedges and fresh salad, and The Pancake Platter ($13).
