FRIED YONG TAU FOO has got to be one of the most sinful yet delicious things ever 😍😍😍 used to eat this at i12 katong all the time before the stall there closed down. going to eat it again, it was a little pricier than i remember… but the quality definitely didn’t dip. love the noodles in the minced meat & mushroom sauce… idk how it can be so simple yet so so flavourful 🥲 9/10!!

Indulgent yongtaufoo here as it is fried and then mixed in a braised minced meat sauce.

Minimum 6 pieces required for each order ($0.80 per piece). They were also other “premium” ingredients at varying prices such as fishcake ($1.20), tofu with fish and chicken paste ($1.40), Cheese hot dog ($2.20) and prawn ngor hiang roll ($2.20). The noodle with meat gravy is sold at a separate price of $2.20 for a small bowl.

All in, our order was $20.10! However, if you stick to the basic items, the meal will just cost $0.80 x 6 = $4.80 + $2.20 = $7

There are a few outlets in Singapore, we visited the one at Siglap. Was not crowded on a sunday late morning.

Everything except vegetables is deep-fried and drenched in thick and rich soy-based gravy with bits of minced meat and mushrooms. The gravy is thick and starchy but not too overpowering in texture and flavour. There is a minimum order of six pieces with each piece ranging from $0.40 to $2. Get their thick bee hoon noodles (instead of rice) that are covered in the same gravy to go with YTF. I would say to skip the (microwave) otah and just go for their unhealthy and sinful but definitely delicious YTF.

9pcs Fried YTF 》$7.60
Noodles with Meat Gravy 》$2 / big
Otah 》$6

A selection of Yong Tau Foo together with 2 of their signature meat noodles cost $17.30. I enjoy my soupy Hakka YTF, but when I am craving some sauced0up goodness, I will always come back here. I absolutely love Fulin for their noodles. Simmered in a mushroom broth with minced chicken meat, the noodles here have great qq texture and taste extremely savoury. The YTF will also be doused in their famous brown sauce, which I personally can't get enough of.

Have been to this place dozens of time as it is opposite my office. The gravy is amazing, can't get this anywhere else, makes everything savoury and really delicious. Highly recommended.

Definitely a more sinful version of yong tau foo, with the ingredients being first deep fried, then drenched with their signature meat sauce.🤪 They offer a wide variety of ingredients, which were all the pretty standard yong tau foo selection. What really stood out to us was their signature noodle with mushroom and meat sauce🍜. The noodles were the thick beehoon kind, which went super well with the sauce. Honestly, the noodle was so good that we wouldn't mind just ordering that by itself in the future😂. Cheers to good, cheap eats in the East! 🙆
