Highly recommend to add on this crispy garlic chicken wings on top of your main dish! It’s tasty and so crispy!

headed to fuel plus+ a few weeks before the circuit breaker. the portion of the fries was absolutely massive and the two of us could barely make a dent in it, especially with a main dish each to finish. but of course, this was a good thing given that the fries were crispy, well-seasoned and had a distinct truffle flavour. worth it!

headed to fuel plus+ a few weeks before the circuit breaker. the pasta was delicious on the first bite, with enough spice to give it a good kick. it got rather ‘jelak’ towards the end as the sauce was thick and the fettucine noodles were very heavy. generous portion of soft shell crab made up for that though. would order again, but i’d like to try something else next time.

The Chili crab pasta ($18) was delicious! It came with a crispy fried soft shell crab, and the sauce was sweet and spicy. I personally would prefer it with linguine, I found their pasta had a grainy texture. The tom yum seafood ($17) was amazing! It was creamy but the cream was not overpowering. I’d like it a bit spicier, I finished the whole thing without feeling jelak. The dish came with fresh prawns, not the tiny frozen prawns. Affordable with the burpple 1–1. Also had the iced latte plus, I found the coffee too acidic and bitter for my liking. I’d recommend a regular latte instead. The ambience was perfect for a chill date!

I have tried a couple of dishes at Fuel Plus+ and all have been pretty good! 😛 This time, we ordered the carbonara farfalle ($15) and tomyam seafood pasta ($16). After using our BB deal, we paid about $22 in total.

Taste: 7/10 (My tomyam pasta was flavourful but not overly rich.. very balanced dish. The mussels, prawn and clams were also very fresh. I’ve tried 5 pastas off their menu offering 9 to 10 types. My personal favourite is the truffle bacon mushroom farfalle! Please give it a try if you do visit)

Ambience: 8/10 (Located along Morse Road, this cafe is not the most accessible.. but the location also lends it a very laidback, chill vibe which is sometimes not easy to find in cafes located in central parts of the island)

Price: 9/10 (Extremely affordable if you have subscribe to Burpple Beyond)

We walked to this place a total of 2 times but it was worth it because we got to chase some phat chickz🤪 n their parents. The kitty at the bicycle shop is also p cute so I recommend paying him/her/ze/it a visit. Don’t steal any baby chickz or momma gon get u😝
