This pasta dish was surprisingly tasty, for someone who’s not a fan of pesto! The pesto taste wasn’t too strong, just enough to add flavour to the sauce, along with the smooth creamy mouthfeel which went really well with the mushrooms, zucchini and cherry tomatoes. The lemon juice also gave another flavour to the dish which was a good addition. Smoked salmon was pretty salty but went well with the dish.

Really worth with burpple beyond! The serving was generous, and the bacon cubes as well, with some fresh mushrooms. The creamy truffle sauce was very garlicky, creamy and was fragrant. Sauce was enough for the pasta too.

Serving coffee and all-day brunch, this cosy cafe at the foot of Mount Faber has indoor and alfresco dining areas ✨

We had the 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 ($𝟭𝟳). Decorated with deep-fried lotus root and topped with poached egg, the juicy fried chicken is coated with a thin layer of batter. It sits atop a bed of buttery mashed potato.

We visited on a weekend evening and the place was fully occupied. Do head over early if you're visiting in larger groups.

Alternatively, they are also available on GrabFood, FoodPanda and Deliveroo 🚚

Tossed in creamy tom yum sauce, the flavourful strands of pasta came with prawns and a good amount of mussels. The tom yum flavour is distinct, though we think it can be further improved by incorporating straw mushrooms into this dish! 🍴

We also many orders placed for the chicken stew and I'm lying if I said I'm not tempted 😝 Definitely on my list of things to try on my next visit!

The sister cafes (Fuel Plus+ and Refuel Cafe) also sell homemade apple crumble which I've been hearing good reviews of 🍎

Cuban sandwich @ $16

The food seems pretty average after reading all the good reviews, expectations might have been a bit too high. Got this cuban sandwich that has got a plus sign next to it on the menu, it's alright just that it doesn't really feel very "cuban" enough, think maybe not enough cheese or something.

Got a bunch of other stuff -
Fuel me up @ $19
Chicky egg waffle @ $17
Bacon & spinach mac & cheese @ $17
Nacho pulled pork @ $12

They are all not bad though nothing quite spectacular. Good thing is that the prices are nett, and we got $30 using burpple beyond app. Might be back to try their pastas and mains which look good from the photos of other reviews.
