This dish is dessert level sweet. Not even exaggerating, the exterior is literally layer of bruleed sugar, with a corresponding crunch. The texture of the meat was good, not Melt in your mouth tender but there's a slight snappiness and it's more fat than lean. V unhealthy, not for everyone. I found it too sweet too, not rlly a savoury dish to pair w rice anymore. Honestly it might be more fitting if it goes on top of ice as a dessert, instead of rice.

Btw for reservation, if u indicate youre ordering it, you cant change the number of portions once u actl reach the restaurant

They use sweet vinegar which was what gave the dish a vinegar pungence(which i liked) but without too much sourness.

It's a very restaurant style dish, with a good piece of meat that's cooked well(v slightly stringy, tho super tender) and glazed. The sauce had a nice dark flavour, while the sweetness and sourness took a back stage. Not that i didnt like it, it's just losing some of that rustic charm, the blatant strong flavours that make u want to clean up the entire plate and down a bowl of rice.

I guess part Of it is the nostalgia, tho i wouldnt recommend this if you're trying to experience this dish, which is rustic, for the first time. If you're looking for a roast item that's different from the usual, then this rendition is perfect

Way too sweet for my liking. The exterior taste caramelized, meat is not that tender and there isnt a good proportion of fats to meat.

There is a lack of taste and flavour in the soup. Dish is covered up by the strong taste of parsley. Seafood is not extremely fresh and portion is small.
