Pretty nice dessert to have especially since it’s a twist to the usual chocolate lava cake you’d normally see on menus. The pandan ice cream was very fragrant - I wanted more! I couldn’t taste much of the pistachio from the cake tho as the pandan ice cream taste did overpower it. The serving is on the smaller side but not jelat.

Charred and cooked to the right level of done-ness. Was juicy and overall a good steak to have. I did feel that there was too much gravy and it overpowered the taste of the meat - but that’s cos I tend to prefer tasting the meat itself with as little gravy as possible! Worth a try and especially if you can use Burpple 1 for 1 (or entertainer) with this where it’ll be half off! It’s a good portion of meat!

The BB DEAL on 50% on mains. However we love the small plate of Duck Foie Gras ($16).
It has a wonderfully rich flavour and silky smooth texture, the buttery taste just melted in your mouth.

Wanted to try their pandan ice cream with pistachio lava cake but was sold out (so better order earlier). Hope to try it next time.

Will definitely come here again for the Foie Gras.

Tuck into the Seafood Risotto ($32), Kurobota Pork Collar ($38) or the Iberico Pork Tomahawk ($48) if you're looking for a filling meal of tender, flavourful meat. Burppler Ade Tan especially enjoyed the Bone-In Short Ribs ($38) with it's "Fork-pull-apart level of soft tender meat that was flavoured so beautifully with red wine jus."

Still loving it after 5 years. Fragrant and rich, pistachio lava cake with pandan crème anglaise, pandan ice-cream and a dash of cinnamon!

Fork-pull-apart level of soft tender meat that was flavoured so beautifully with red wine jus. Loved the complementary sides that helped to tie the whole dish together - beetroot chunks, pickled potato and fried shallot! 😋😋 Really love the flavour of the meat though I’ve had more tender meat elsewhere, but this was definitely a nicely done beef short rib! Favourite dish here is still the Iberico Pork Tomahawk, and love the prompt service and casual chill vibes of this bar-restaurant! They’re sometimes on Chope Exclusives with 50% off, or get 1-for-1 with entertainer! 👍🏻👍🏻
