Given this is a Hong Kong restaurant, I thought this classic dim sum would be safe. It was bad. I'm not sure what went wrong, but the skin wasn't fried throughout and the filling was mushy.
Our first KK meal. We settled on this Hong Kong restaurant. Menu is like zichar, with some emphasis on roast. All the noodles were the typical egg noodles so I ordered this instead. I guess what's special is it's stir-fried and wet. The noodle type was also quite new to me, although I would later find out it's common in KK. The pork is basically chopped char siew. I didn't really enjoy it because the noodles were too alkaline.
Nicely fried with plenty of wok hei, and goes great with Gam Tong’s house dried chilli flakes sauce. #burpple
