Not fancying the 15 minute walk from my house to Gin Khao's East Coast Park branch in the ungodly scorching heat, I whipped out my phone and with a few taps in the #deliveroo app, had a scorching Thai feast on the way to mi casa.

For mains, we got the refreshing Som Tam(papaya salad - $9.42), Stir Fried Squid With Runny Salted Egg($17.98), aromatic Khao Phat Nam Leab(olive fried rice with tender beef slices - $15.84) and creamy and fragrant Kaeng Khiew Wan Gai(chicken green curry - $14.77).

As for dessert, we had the gratifyingly multi-textured Mango With Black Sticky Rice and Coconut Cream($9.42) and the addictive sugar bomb that was the Thai Ice Rose Milk Tea.

And Because You Deserve The Best(#BYDTB), Deliveroo's Thai week from 18th-24th July has participating restaurants offering set meals for 2($25) and for 4($45) #BurppleRoo

๐Ÿ‰ A creative twist to the traditional pineapple fried rice for this hot weather. โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

The dishes here don't suffer the one-dimensional fate like some thai food we have here in Singapore. The flavours of the Pad Thai were complex, not overly oily, salty or spicy. The famous Watermelon Fried Rice was superb! Again, the dish was well-balanced and refreshing as we bite into the large watermelon chunks, so addictive we just wanted more after each mouthful. Quality ingredients were used so the meal was really value for money!!

Delightfully delicious, honestly you simply can't fault this plate of runny oozy salted egg squid. The colour is fantastic, and the squid is well cooked without being rubbery. Great with plain rice, but better on its own. And especially since, most Singaporeans loves their salted eggs. You can count the number of dishes created with salted egg yolks, right here in Singapore. One question though, I questioned if this dish is really truly Thai.

1๏ธโƒฃA Thailand flag inspired cake? ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ which happens to be my fav too! ๐Ÿ˜‹ .
2๏ธโƒฃBlack sticky rice with green curry gelato
3๏ธโƒฃChocolate lava cake with tom yum gelato .

The gelato so exotic right!! Hahaha! I would say it's an acquired taste. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I could take the green curry but the tom yum gelato was too much for me to handle. (My face went... ๐Ÿ˜ต. Hahaha!) Quite fun to challenge them though. ๐Ÿ˜‚ .
If you're adventurous with food, you have to come down and try these!! Other exotic flavours available too. ๐Ÿ™ƒ
