Went for this as our other 1-for-1 dish (closing promo ends today!) and was a tad disappointed even though the portion was very filling. The pork was tougher here and we were really hoping for more oozy cheese!
Last 3 days of Ginza Bairinโs 1 for 1 set meals as their closing promotion (till 23rd)! The queue extended to Daiso and we waited for about an hour before getting a table. The orders came quickly after and they didnโt compromise on the quality despite the crowd. Our katsu came with a crunchy non-greasy breaded crust while the meat within had that tender + slightly chewy bite. The set came with a bowl of miso soup, rice and the familiar pile of cabbage with sesame dressing - was very filing!
The katsu is fried well enough and the curry is not so empowering. It always makes good enough Japanese meals as they have promotions every so often - keep it up! ๐

In frame: Chicken Katsu Curry
Ate this during lunch time and it is $10! I like that the chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Only wish they put more soya sauce! Quite worth it if ate it during lunch~
This is soooo delicious! For $20 nett, this is worth it. Also got free ice cream for buying a set with a promotion from J Passport.
๐ท Curry served a little too diluted & more like a soup ๐Could taste the 'powdery' texture of the curry & didn't really enjoy the 'oily' after taste ๐ถ #burpple
