I loooooveeee my Tonkatsu and when I passed by this place @ Suntec I had to go!! I got the Rosu Katsu Set ($21) which came with tender and crispy pork, salad, rice, as well as miso soup. I think it’s pretty worth it at its pricepoint as I was super full after the entire meal!! Nothing much to rave about just your typical average tonkatsu set😋 They also had Rive Gauche cakes in their menu which I got after the meal!! Overall a decent experience + the waiter was Japanese so it kinda felt like I was back in Japan ☺️
Quite extensive tonkatsu menu. They have the fatter rosu so that got my attention. Added prawns and curry because why not? Sadly it's quite ordinary. The best thing was the tartar.
Looking for a place in the heart of the city to relax or a place to unwind with friends over food and drinks after work? @ginzalionsingapore has you covered!
Went for this tasting after a long day at work and was rejuvenated over these dishes that we tried:
• Ginza Roast Beef ($21/$22): High-quality Angus beef from US grilled by far-infrared grill. Delicate and juicy roast beef meat. Served with Japanese soy sauce and wasabi.
• Unagi Don Platter ($23.80): Fried rice with Unagi drizzled with Unagi sauce. Comes with fried egg, tofu and sushi ginger.
• Tonkatsu Sandwich ($15/$19): Deep fried pork loin topped with cabbage and tonkatsu sauce, served with french fries
• Sapporo beer: The beer is poured “in One Action” in a fast and steady stream, forming a natural fine foam.
Do note that prices are slightly different for lunch and dinner times!
Roast Beef Set ローストビーフセット(S$58++)
- A set suitable for 2 pax!
- Includes the following dishes : ..
.
>> Ginza Lion’s Signature Roast Beef
Using far infrared ray grill from Japan, high quality Angus beef from US was baked with carefully selected ingredients to bring out the savory surface and tender inside.
Served with horseradish, wasabi, french fries with mentaiko mayonnaise, and vinegar dip.
Falling in love 😍 with the rich creamy mentaiko mayonnaise. Wiped it clean..
.
>> Seafood Salad
Salmon, squid, clams, mussels, tobiko and rocket salad.
Love the smooth texture of raw salmon with crunchy tobiko together.
.
>> Spaghetti Napolitan
Japanese style spaghetti with tomato ketchup sauce
Was surprised by the lovely smell of truffle. For one who usually avoid tomato based dishes as felt most were more sour than preferred, this was more on the savory side.

A bit too dry around the crust, but the delectably pink middle is as beefy and juicy as it looks. The condiments played a perfect foil for the beef too, especially the rich sauce.
This set came with a generous serving of 2 plump Oysters, 2 Ebi fry and a decent mini slab of Salmon, served along side rice, salad and miso soup.
I must say that the seafood was fresh and portion was just nice, if not a bit too much for me. Do note that the prawn used for the Ebi fry is not the meaty kinda prawn, but more so like the water shrimp that is translucent. Oysters were super large and fresh! Salmon well seasoned!
Gd to share this with someone especially if you find that have a fried meal is too ‘gelat’.
