Braised pork belly, fried meat, scrambled egg. I returned for this. I always have a soft spot for this.

Yum. One of China's greatest contributions. So big yet so cheap.

Deep-fried brinjal meatballs, tomato egg, braised pork belly. Hidden in this ulu kopitiam is this ulu PRC stall. Food's ugly as fk but shiok like few. It's my first time meeting those giant meatballs. They combine brinjal with meat, kinda like ytf, then batter it. Follow that up with more vice: thick cuts of fatty pork. Memorable meal.

Super duper good curry noodles!! Tasted exactly like those i had in Malaysia as a child/teen. Definitely do come down and try, especially if you are craving for that Malaysian taste. They also have 干捞面 (aka traditional malaysian breakfast food)!!

Pity I only returned to this awesome stall after so long. It's since shuttered for good. I picked braised beef as topping this time. Again, a giant bowl I couldn't finish. Uneven, with some tough pieces, but substantial fattiness. The noodles plus the free-flow chilli was always the star.

Super rare. This stall focuses on da lu mian, which is a homey, basic Chinese noodle dish. Take la mian and imagine topping it with one caifan dish. You either hate it for being cheap or love it for its comfort. They can afford to be generous too given the low costs. Delicious chilli too.
