First time tried out this signature Claypot XO Fish Head Noodle(S)(RM14.90++). The soup is just okay only, not fragrant and very plain luckily the fish meat is fresh.

4/10

Served with a generous amount of pork lard, minced pork, fried dried shrimp, spring onion and chilli!

Pretty good for me this claypot lou shu fun compare to the common that we usually have. This is not overly dark with the soy sauce and they used a lot of Zhu You Zha(猪油渣) for the aroma and the crackling taste with a spoonful of the mixture with lou shu fun in your mouth.

Late lunch with my buddy at our favorite restaurant. Fish head soups with thick vermicelli for 2 person @ RM 23, pork intestine with special spicy sauce @ RM 15 are the must have dishes for us all the time.

Delicious with soft, smooth and flavorful chunks of fish head, this is simply a must try

This is, hands down, the best ever XO fish head noodles I've had and whenever I'm in KL, this would definitely be top of my to-eat list. And I'm glad that they've expanded from one stall to multiple in the same block and as well decided to open on Saturdays, so it means less waiting time. The soup is flavorful and tangy (from tomatoes and pickled veg) and goes so well with the taste of the fried fish. I like the pieces of fried yam that they put into the soup as well. Another must-order at Goon Wah is the Claypot Lou Shu Fun (not pictured here). I love how they put in deep fried dried shrimps to give extra taste and crunch to the dish.
