I was fortunate to come across this old school confectionary at hougang. Soo teck lim vegetarian confectionary. The tau sa piah cost $2.50 per piece. The soft and thin crisp melts in your mouth, it has a peppery taste which is quite intriguing.
The colored mooncakes and piahs attracted my attention.
All purchases come with 2 free pineapple tarts. I was amazed how the aroma of the pineapple lingers though it was not sweet at all. It makes you crave for more.
Really enjoying my lunch as the long-awaited rain to break the dry spell finally came! โโ The ๐ณ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ด๐๐ท๐พ๐ป๐บ๐๐ธ must be all rejoicing as well! Happy Sunday to all!
