With its perfectly straight edges and packed centre, this mjk definitely satisfied my mjk craving for a bit

My oh my was this downright sinful. 1000 calories, but no regrets. The Peanut Butter Pancake (~$1.20) was coated fully with sloppy peanut butter, then more peanut crumbly bits.

TLDR: edges were crispy thin, MJK texture was so!!! damn!!! chewy!!! and not soggy 🥳 If you’ve had bad MJK before then it’s time fr this I swEAR🤪

Really soft, Kueh was a bit sticky and the peanut butter was very shiok, since it wasn't too viscous or too oily

My preference for Min Jiang Kuehs has always been:- Red Bean > Coconut > Peanut

Today, I had a change of heart because of Granny’s Pancake. Yes, peanut butter always goes well with everything. But no traditional Min Jiang Kueh stores offer this filling.

My new favourite Min Jiang Kueh’s filling is now - PEANUT BUTTER ❤️

Though I would prefer it if the batter itself had a little more flavor (i.e. a teeny bit of salt added into it), it was light, pillowy, and non-greasy ✅, which made for a great mid-day snack.

Fresh and crunchy with visible sugar crystals, the peanut filling definitely compensated for the batter’s light flavour.

Always my go-to when I’m craving for mian jian kueh! 😋
