This was no doubt a beautiful dish, however I felt like something was missing in this for me. The pasta – freshly-made by the kitchen – had a beautiful bite just look the detailed edges on each one of them! However I did find the flavours a bit overpowering for me. It was too spicy which was the only flavour profile I could take note of. But again, to me, it feels like it needed something more. Maybe a glass of wine to pair with the pasta?

I personally preferred this veggie pasta to the other for its fresh and clean flavours. The gnocchetti was a bit more firm than I’d like but it still makes for a nice bite. I would have liked maybe a bit of zing (lemon maybe???) for some extra layers of flavour, but I still enjoyed this!

Squares of polenta mixed with tallegio cheese make for a nice (but also heavy) appetiser. This comes with two condiments, semi-dried tomato pesto and aubergine spread, but I personally prefer the former for its tang and slight spice. While I’m typically a fan of aubergine, the herby flavours didn’t quite sit well with me.

Heard a few good review about this new place for paste. Their menu is kinda limited. I ordered the reginette cooked with braised chicken, pork pancetta with white wine x chicken broth as based. Erm, I find it okay, because I always prefer something taste strong. If you like spicy I think you can go for creste de Gallo lisce, but the level of the spiciness is bearable to me. My friend agreed. They do serve wine in glass, so we ordered white wine to pair with our pasta ;)

Am not the biggest fan of this meatless option, not because of how green it is, but that it falls just a littleeeee short on flavour (if you like cleaner flavours, you might like it). Also found that the rounds of gnocchetti were a tad thick for my liking. I should emphasise that this wasn’t a bad dish; it just doesn’t play well with me!

The pasta machine from Italy quite holds up to what we expect of it! The creste pasta had a beautiful bite, and is thoroughly coated in a mesh of spicy, savoury nduja pork sausage. That paired with the sliced zucchini, cherry tomatoes and capers, bear a striking resemblance to a certain pizza next door at Proof. Not that I’m complaining — this is probably one of the punchier pastas you’ll find at Grano.

Like that the price is very reasonable for freshly made pastas (and in this area) too!
