7th Oysters Festival by Greenwood.

Had a disappointed run as we are without Belon OOO & Gillardeau, their priciest oysters at 11 & 9 respectively. Nevertheless, we still had a joy with the others. They do have oysters platter at $99 coming with 9pairs but we decided otherwise.

Chebooktook, Tsarskaya, Kumamoto, Chefs Creek, Pacific Rock. We found Kumamoto tasted best among these 5 types. Sweet, succulent but small in size. Whereas the plump & meaty ones came from the cheapest Chefs Creek which is delicious in its own rights.

Had alantic cod fish & chips - it's soft to the bite and very fresh. Literally pry open the crust easily.

Angus burger, on cut, juice flow out with oomph! Tasted good but can be better at that price point.

Overall, we enjoy our mains and half of the oysters.

With a spacious setting and a comfortable ambience, this bistro is great for groups. Be sure to try their Salmon Sandwich ($19.90) that sees fresh salmon slices in crisp and chewy homemade pita bread. Choose between a white wine sauce or the spicy tomato one to accompany your bowl of plump and tender New Zealand (North Island) Green Lipped Mussels ($17.95). For fresh, briny oysters, order their Baked Oyster Trays ($25.95 for 6) or pop by on Tuesdays to get 35 percent off Freshly Shucked Oysters. Alternatively, feast on House Oysters at $1.95 each! P.S. Their Angus Beef Burger ($22.90) is also excellent!

Must order everytime I visit this restaurant. What makes this humble looking sandwich so great is actually the pita bread that they chose. The base of the bread remain crisp and chewy till the end of the meal, keeping the sandwich in shape instead of falling all over the place. Salmon slices were fresh too.

Also, this place offers free flow of their homemade bread. :D

food taste not good & not freah!Even there is a small piece of glass in salad from Fish&Chips! Can u believe that!!!never come back again!!!

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to come dine at Greenwood Fish Market. The food here is solid, seafood is super fresh and prepared beautifully. Prices are decent considering the quality and service is fairly good. I loved the chowder (a must-order for me if on the menu) and we demolished the mussels very quickly!

Despite them opening up many more outlets, it’s always feels quite nostalgic going to this one.

One of the best things about this place is their Beef burgers ($22.90). Served with a portobello mushroom, the Angus patty was thick, charred well and Super flavourful. Slathered with a delicious caper aioli, it was spiked with caramelized onions for sweetness and several pickles to cut through the richness. I loved their brioche buns which didn’t get soggy but instead were the perfect vessels for its contents. So so good.

⚖️: will definitely be back soon. Did you know the hillcrest outlet is also priced cheaper than some of their newer ones?
