Tbh the wax meat the sausages were decent, they weren't super flavourful.
Also all of their claypot rice comes with salted fish, it's super salty and funky so thankfully they only give a bit. Break it up very finely and mix well otherwise it's very overpowering
Quite light actually, it's not very strongly herbal and the chicken was tender
Try not to come after 6pm, they close then and there's very few options left by then, this was the only soup left and there's limited toppings for the claypot rice too
Unfortunately not much crisp, but the flavour was decent and the pork ribs were ridiculously tender, is it even pork ribs? The texture seems so fatty yet it isn't actually fatty.
Chili was pure bright heat but works because the sauce and everything provided the complexity alr
Overall it's not too bad if you're in the area

While rice been cooked in the Claypot, the heat forced the fatty Chinese bacon to drip its fat onto the rice. The ribs were soft and well season. Pretty good place for comfort food. Do give their stewed soup a try. .

This is especially so for this Claypot Sausage Bacon Pork Rib Rice ($5)! Pork Ribs so soft that it melts almost instantly mixed with a salty tinge from the lupcheong & wok hei-filled rice 😌
