Instead of graham crackers and chocolates, I guess us folk in the central plains relied on good old lettuce leaves and a savoury sauce to make our own type of s'mores. 😋

Mum and I always beam with excitement when seasoned soy bean sprouts are presented as part of a vibrant spread of 반찬 (Korean side dishes). This was the case on our first time at Guiga; contributing to the spread was kimchi that had a balanced splatter of dark red seasoning- tending towards a “mild and sweet” type.
In the 24 degree weather, we had an order of clear Korean oxtail soup, dumpling and rice cake soup; the former felt slightly diluted or clean tasting while the latter had intriguing dumplings with a peculiar aftertaste.

Very very nice Korean bbq meat here!! The meat are marinated with the right level of taste and saltiness! Here they also serve side dishes that are 👍🏻 I love the kimchi and mayo potato!! Would definitely recommend my friends to come here!! 😄😄

Portions were so big that the two of us were so stuffed. The Japchae, glass noodles with a generous amount of veg and some beef, was so flavourful and chewy. The soup, unfortunately, didnt appeal to us as it was slightly on the sweeter side rather than savoury side.

However, from here on, I'm more attracted to the appetizers/side dishes! Guiga has this superb egg roll side dish that we ordered multiple times but got sold out so quickly, please prepare more in future! 😂😋😍

Because we have late lunch.
Because we woke up late.
Because we stayed up late last night.
First recommended by a korean, we know this place can't go wrong.
Soft tofu stew with clams and vegetables. The stew is nice because they added seafood like shrimps and even pieces of crabs.
And i haven't even mention how nice the steamed egg is! Good place for late nights.
