the beef itself is served rare, safe to eat on its own, but there’s also a personal grill for u to cook it to ur desired doneness :-) it’s absolutely delightful, from the tender meat to the crispy breading. it comes w cabbage, potato salad, miso soup, pickles, rice w grated yam and ur choice of sides. i had the warubi mochi and it was amazing 🤤

Work has brought me to Japan for the second time. Having Gyukatsu at Gyukatsu Motomura. The amount of marbling on the beef... insane.

I walked past @gyukatsu_motomura a few times and ALWAYS saw snaking queues, even when I didn’t know of its existence yet and when I decided to pop by to try their legendary deep-fried breaded beef cutlet, I realised its the same stall I’ve been walking past at Shinjuku! And I totally see why the queue was SO!! LONG!! Even at like 9pm! You get to cook your own beef so if it’s chaota, you only got yourself to blame 🤣🤣 Please pop by one of its many outlets if you haven’t try it yet! ITS SO GOOD!!! 🤤🤤

Decided to give it a try today. Interesting beef katsu dish. The exterior is crispy but interior is still raw. So u need to grill it on the hot stone before eating.
