Portions were small but the taste made up for it! Both of us liked the salmon don more :-) Will defo be back for it :-)

Used the 2 for $25 deal with Burpple and got the wagyu beef don. The presentation was on point and an absolute feast for my lady friend to enjoy taking pictures for IG. Overall wise delicious, but it’s a small bowl and you’d probably not be full on this meal. Pricy overall but for the taste... think it’s alright.

I am IN LOVE with this place! First of all, the presentation is simply gorgeous. With a beautiful pale pink colour, the roasted wagyu beef was peppery, flavourful and incredibly juicy, with a great mouthfeel and texture. Although the rice : beef ratio was a little disproportionate, with more rice than beef, the portions of beef and rice were still extremely generous and filled me up sufficiently. Also can we talk about the egg! Literally #eggporn… I audibly gasped when I poked the egg because the yolk flowed out so perfectly I doubt I’ve seen anything sexier in my life. With the friendly service and amazing ambience, I’ll definitely be coming back, since it’s also on #burpplebeyond! Pro-tip: since the space is a little small and it can be quite crowded with the lunch and dinnertime crowds, do make a reservation before you come down!

The bowls they use here are really small so you wont really feel full after a meal. I really hope theyll consider increasing the quantity of the food they serve

The serving wasn’t too lavish and too much pepper was sprinkled on the bowl. Would be better if the quantity increases and the pepper is lessened

Place is small and cozy, we both got the wagyu beef don buri set. Wagyu beef was sliced thinly and super delicious with the egg and pepper. Usual price is $15 per set.
