Mmm always a hearty meal! Very value for money - generous beef portions for the price and just the right amount of rice. Good beef never gets old.

Burpple $15 for 2 Dons and soup - medium rare wagyu beef was delicious! So was the mentaiko salmon don and the chicken teriyaki ($6 add on). Really delicious and satisfying meal, with nice ambience! Small cosy shop, but very chillax. Will come back again!

Beef bowl was delicious but serving is quite small. Comes with a hot bowl of miso soup when you dine in! Yummy

we got x2 of their signature wagyu beef don. the beef was very well cooked, and paired very nicely with the white sauce on the side. complimentary miso soup (dine-in) was okay

portions are a little small, but okay for the small eater.

Simple and cheap, good for a quick and yummy meal.

Conveniently located at Orchard Gateway, which is just next to Somerset MRT station, Gyu Nami is a "hole in the wall" size donburi shop.

Gyu-Nami is a fairly popular shop originally located at Amoy Street, its renowned for their excellent Wagyu Beef Don.

Generous layers of Wagyu Beef, cooked to perfect medium rare, topped with a milky yogurty sauce and an egg yolk ready to be break apart to mix with the entire dish. A mouthful of this hits u like a wave of flavours, much like GyuNami's logo.

Presentation wise, it's truly something unique, looks like a miniature volcanic eruption.

Each Donburi are priced at $15 dollars, with burrple beyond, its $25 for 2 bowls of Donburi.

Thank you Burrple for the invite, and Gyu Nami for hosting.
