The end bit of rice was partially swimming in oil, but flavour wise the ๐™ƒ๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™š๐™ฎ ๐™‚๐™–๐™ง๐™ก๐™ž๐™˜ ๐™‹๐™ง๐™–๐™ฌ๐™ฃ (~$17) was SOLID. The evident garlic aroma interrupted the sweet prawns and honey, enhancing the depth of flavour of the rice. ๐Ÿฆ

If youโ€™re a carbs on carbs kinda person, the ๐˜พ๐™๐™ž๐™ก๐™ก๐™ž ๐˜พ๐™ง๐™–๐™— ๐™‹๐™–๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™– (~$17) is for you. Mantous AND linguine?? Yes please. The chilli crab sauce was more spicy tomato than chilli crab, which wasnโ€™t my kinda thing, but I still really enjoyed this dish with the springy crab ๐Ÿฆ€

With a generous portion of not too fatty beef, the ๐˜ฝ๐™š๐™š๐™› ๐™”๐™–๐™ ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™ž๐™ ๐™ช (~$18) had potential. Perhaps consider drenching and mixing the rice with sweet sauce โ€” it was rather dry and clumpy. ๐Ÿš

Ordered a Large Cappuccino and a slice of Baileys Black Velvet cake for Hubby, a regular Mocha Latte and Key Lime Pie for myself. Hubby's Cappuchino was really smooth, I liked it. The mocha Latte was a bit too bitter for me tho.
The cake was good, spongy with a nice taste of Baileys in the cream. I really liked the Key Lime Pie - I think I tasted some Passionfruit in it?

Two runny eggs with just-set whites and gooey runny yolks, simmering in a tangy tomato sauce of bacon, baked beans, spinach and peppers. There's also two slices of toasted sourdough for dipping. ($15)

It's a light, simple dish but with great flavor. I loved the yolk mixed with tomato sauce and dunking a slice of sourdough into that saucy mixture. Also that slab of butter makes a great difference. :) There's something about buttered sourdough that makes it so delicious. I couldn't tell whether the sauce was house-made or canned though. ๐Ÿค”

Also doesn't it look just so super aesthetically appealing?

This delicious stack of fluffy pancakes ($15) was cooked from a batter that was made in-house. It is topped with caramelized bananas, walnuts, blueberries and cranberry jam. There's also a strange sprinkling of sprouts for a reason. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Anyway, these are really really soft, fluffy and steaming hot as my knife cut into the three-pancake stack. Which is why I thought they really shouldn't come in a huge pool of syrup because the pancakes soak it all up, which really makes it overly sweet.

They do have the flavors and textures on point though. The banana is soft and creamy, and the walnuts provide a nice earthy crunch. The blueberries give an acidic tang and a pop to the entire dish. Just a tad too sweet for my palate.
