Enjoy dining without burning a hole in your pocket, no membership required
Came for weekday lunch at 1130am and by 1230pm the place was packed. Note that restaurant has split shift; closes from 230-5pm.
My dining partner and I had a private room to ourselves.
We ordered the sashimi set (noted that requirement to order the same set within the same dining group). Came with various bancha (side dishes) which we loved the abalone porridge and grilled fish. The sashimi was fresh and generous. We also ordered the spicy fish roe cold noodles which was good. Additionally, we ordered a portion of marinated crab (the boss was nice enough to allow us to order ala carte as usually the marinated crab is only available part of the set). The marinated crab was tad salty for us even with rice - not sure if itโs how it supposed to taste like as itโs our first time trying.
The interior of the restaurant was nicely decorated with a fake Sakura tree. The staff who served us were friendly and helpful especially the lady wait staff who took photos for us and directed us to pose - added bonus for good service!
Will be back for sure!
This is so interesting . Wrapping an assortment of sashimi & shell fish in perilla leaves with seaweed n kimchi .
