Got to say that my favourite part of having hotpot at Haidilao is having as much fresh garlic and chilli padi as I want in my sauce, its the perfect finishing touch to all the cooked ingredients 🤣

First try and impressed with the good quality of food, services and ambience. Although it is pricey, I felt is worth it. There are many varieties for the sauces and dessert provided are nice! Will definitely come again. But has to come early to prevent long queue.

Super pleased about our timely late lunch decision at HDL today especially with that crazy pour! Haven’t been back for quite a bit and though a little disappointed with the lacking service today, the steamboat was still shiok. Forgot to take a picture of it, but I was obsessed with the spicy mushrooms that’s available at the condiments table. They had just the right amount of heat, so addictive!

I’m addicted to the xia hua (prawn paste) as you can obviously tell from my photo that I ordered 3 full portions for 4 diners 😋 Favourite soup base is of course mala! My hai di lao hack is to ask for the prawn paste sauce so you don’t have to pay extra for the usual condiments and fruits. That is if you don’t mind not customising your own sauce and is willing to give the 小菜 a miss. They usually will serve you fruits at the end of your meal regardless.

Love love love hai di lao! 😂 especially the mala woo I’m a big fan! Anyway, my fixed dishes I’ll always go for are prawn paste (虾滑),sliced fish (嫩鱼)!

One need not say much about Hai Di Lao. It has already established itself as one of the most well loved chinese hot pot restaurants by Singaporeans.

The signatures of hai di lao- good ingredients, delicious and huge varieties of broth and excellent service ( from manicures to dancing noodle chefs)

My favourite broths are the tomato and chicken. We ordered the wagyu beef, which was thinly sliced with a nice fat to meat ratio and melts in your mouth when cooked.
