Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice (Alexandra Village)

First of all what a steal?! So cheap. The chicken was pretty soft and tender, not bad but we had a really nice one at yuhua recently (hup hong) and we felt that hup hong’s chicken was juicier. We like that the soy sauce is not too salty or sweet, and they give achar here too! Overall a pretty decent option that I wouldn’t mind having again~

Good value meal for the price with their generous amount of flavourful chicken (though sometimes served cold), grainy and flavourful rice, served with achar. Usually order with their chicken liver (+0.50), no metallic taste so I enjoy this a lot

Always one of my go-tos in Alexandra Village despite their snaking queue

Chicken Rice here good. Chicken is fresh, and tender. The gravy sauce was rather sweet and savoury type.

This stall is listed on the Michelin guide, so surely the chicken rice here can't be bad.

Came around 1pm after on a weekday, not crowded whatsoever.

Hainanese chicken rice ($3)

Comes with substantial amount of chicken meat. The chicken is quite average, not impressive. The achar was quite appetising. Rice was also not oily or fragrant enough. Chilli however was spicy and packed a punch. Overall just a very normal plate of chicken rice.
