担担面 in pasta form. With kale. #mindblown #shuttupandtakemymoney #malamadness
I'm a huge fan of fusion pastas so it's no surprise that i loved this. I really liked the doneness of the spaghetti too - super al dente. The dressing is a little numbing but not spicy, just a bit peppery. The half boiled egg really brings it all together and the kale soaks up the sauce while still maintaining that fresh crisp texture. What a winner.
The menu has mosly regular brunch /cafe food items but I took a chance with this unusual option. Would totally come back for it even though I despise being in orchard. Their $12++ ice cube concept drinks are also really luxe and pretty (yes overpriced but you gotta live a little).
🚙 : note $2 lunchtime parking surcharge at paragon carpark (i.e. On top of the already killer parking fees)

Very nice and refreshing iced tea with a balance of sweetness, tanginess and acidity.

Also available hot!

16 hours of slow braised beef in red wine sauce with morel mushroom and duck fat crumble. Well, it sounds much better in theory that the actual dish. It was toward the sweeter side and not really tasty. For those who eat with their eyes first, it looked too dark, heavy and marginally unappetizing. The portion size is good though.

It's a pretty cafe with a pretty name and very ordinary food :(
The salad was OK. For the price, I expected slightly more burrata. I loved the combination with Spanish Serrano ham though. Everything else was where it should it.

It came with maple syrup, chantilly cream & fresh berries. Liked that the crusted brioche was really very crispy 👍🏻 and the salted butter on the side. The bread was pretty tasteless on its own so you really need the toppings - which were nothing special and taste meh to me.

Maybe because I’m not a huge fan of chantilly cream in general, I got bored of the dish 3 bites in. Cappuccino was not bad though.

Never getting this again.

Came here for a friend’s birthday. Very pretty place. Vegetarian options available. Relatively more fine foods and slightly pricey but understandable for location. Place was accommodative to one of my friends with pescatarian food preferences.
